In the US, PBS has a half hour weekly show called Religion and Ethics. Maybe it's something they would pick up on.

"Mentally diseased" article to be published in The Independent tomorrow

as a parting gift to you all before i take a much needed break from this forum, i thought you would be pleased to know that the independent, a leading uk newspaper, will be publishing a piece on the "mentally diseased" watchtower article in tomorrow's edition.. i would like to thank everybody who has assisted the journalist, jerome taylor, in his investigation.. best wishes to all of you,.

What Do You Like For A Drink?
by minimus ini'm usually a cognac drinker.
i love armagnac too.
and i enjoy a martini i invented---mandarin vodka with a slight bit, usually about a capful of chambord served in an ice cold martini glass.. this saturday i'm mixing with my gf's friends and family in conn. with some affluent people and i might want to try something different.

I have found I enjoy a Gin and Tonic.
For awhile, everything was vodka. It's refreshing to go back to the classic version of this cocktail.
When the weather is cooler, I enjoy Tuaca. It can be a little sweet for some, if so, add a splash of brandy.

Oh my Vilola , but I have knickers to throw to Tom Jones.
I must protest at Right said Fred too. That song brings back some funny party memories from way back when . We would follow it with some Deee-Lite. The Grove is in the Heart c.d. London Beat too.

Lovers becoming friends

Some times things just dont work out in a relationship. When someone says 'can we still be friends ?' , I take it as a sort of , oh I dont know, but a compliment to who you both are. It's a way of not assigning blame. You are both good people but it just didnt work out. If some one still wants to be your friend it can be like saying you are still valued , but were just not meant to be.
I understand it still hurts though and I'm sorry you are feeling sad and hurt.
I know you have friends who care deeply for you and are offering their love and support. Stay close. I aggree with Flipper about music. Sometimes we cant find the words to express our feelings, feel alone, or not understood, but we find comfort and a sense of kindred spirits in music in those quiet times.

I identified with Head like a Hole.. I will always remember it for many reasons.
When I bought it, that was what I was feeling about jw-stuff/religion.
Were Trent screams 'head like a hole , Id rather die than give you control

That was my mantra then. I have calmed down some. :-)

I sure do. I was shocked to say the least. I was little still and clearly remembering the taste of Ivory soap for saying words I heard at school, but didnt understand.
That's all I thought , 'Hey, were's the soap? it's your turn now.' LOL
Gotta love them, at least it wasnt hot sause. Ouchiewawa...Cal Tjader in the background.. { i make joke}

after all this talk of puncuation and spelling i feel we of the delesac glory should stand together.. against a world of sneering nerdy anorak types.
in short the types that end up being accountants and maths/ english teachers.

Damn...I'm exsplosivly dyslexic. It makes for some dumb rendations of words that I have only read, never spoken. Words seem more of a pattern of figures.
Like a book or movie might be described as a whodoneit. My mind reads woodnut. Cant help but laugh along as I get a correction on a word.
Yep, I've watched quiet a few good woodnuts on TCM. Love old movies.
